After graduating from the University of Texas she moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of the profession of professional acting. When she began her professional career, she worked as the commercial model. Her career began as a print model, and was featured in a variety of commercials. The first time she appeared on TV was for minor parts in shows such as A Thin Line Supah Ninjas & How I Met Your Mother. In the same time, she began her film career with small roles in movies such as Detention or DisCONNECTED. Kristina was her major breakthrough in her career when she played her role on the television show General Hospital. She starred in the show for about one period of a year. The show offered her a part in the role of Raven Reyes, the mechanic of The 100's science-fiction series. This gave her huge boost to her career.
