Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian, who's been performing for some time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea was on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, after playing a few small roles she appeared in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. Following 2012, she was being featured in sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms and similar shows. In 2012, following her received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured frequently in panel shows. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is a Kildare born girl. She was born in March 16, 1984. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who died at the age of three. Bea was only three years old, though she was not told how he died until she reached the age of 13. In honor of her father, she chose the stage-name Bea and in 2017 she wrote an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen, who is also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. Their family was racing and horse-related. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
